This week we will review over
coordinating and subordinating conjunctions. We will go over and work
with correlative conjunctions
and conjunctive adverbs. The students will incorporate correlative
conjunctions and conjunctive adverbs into a simple writing project. The
rest of the week our focus will be on interjections and how they stand
alone. An interjection does not interact with other parts of speech.
Students will diagram sentences and show the the different parts of
speech and the relationships they participate in. Examples: a
conjunction joins two words or two groups of words and a noun agrees
with its verb
