During this week's Bible class schedule, we are continuing our focus on the expansion of the early church and the impact of Paul and Barnabas as they traveled to spread the Gospel.

UNIT 3 - The Expanding Church: To The Uttermost Parts
                (3rd Part of 'The Great Commission')

1.  Memory Verse-Acts 13:2

     (Student is responsible to type/write verse & have in your notebook to study

     & memorize for Unit 3-A Test)

2. Lecture/Discussion Topics:  Expansion of Early Church

                                                - Paul's 2nd Missionary Journey

                                                - Special Topics: Jerusalem Council, 

                                                  Macedonian Call, Church Growth in Philippi, 

                                                  Priscilla & Aquila in Corinth

3. Geographical map tracing Paul's 2nd missionary journeys, Scripture reading, student group Q & A time, & classroom worksheets for special topics

4.  Unit 3-A Test - Friday, October 16

      

October - Upcoming Events

• Friday, October 2                St. Francis Day - Blessing of the Pets 
• Parents meet us in the field with your pets @ 8:15am.

• Sunday, October 4               CCS Sunday 
• Students wear chapel uniform. Meet @ church between 9:30-9:45am. Dinner after service; bring your favorite dessert.

•  Monday, October 12              Holiday/Columbus Day - Building Closed

• Wednesday, October 14         Individual school photos

• Friday, October 16                  End of first quarter grading period
