The students will be participating in a team trivia game.  The trivia game will center around what we have learned over this year about the Early Church and Paul's missionary journeys.

Our final week we will completing and presenting an editing project the students worked on last week.  Each student will read and present their essay to the class.

We have finished your 'Teacher of the Day' presentations as you led our Bible class in learning about church conduct and church doctrine from 1 Corinthians.  Each presentation demonstrated your ability to assume leadership responsibilities in creative, thoughtful and meaningful ways.

As a continuation of your work, this week our lecture and class discussions will be centered around the information that you prepared and provided on the student worksheet.

ELA ~ Ms. Kirk ~ May 16-20, 2016

This week we will be reviewing over the grammar quiz and discussing the different parts of the quiz.  Each student will be rewriting a short essay they edited last week.  We work together as a class learning the steps for editing, proofreading and revising a writing project.

Math for Week of May 23- 25, 2016

This week in Math we will continue playing games to reinforce skills learned during the year.  Please keep practicing your multiplication facts, and remember your formulas during the summer.

1 Corinthians - Research/Student Leadership Project
During our last quarter this year, there have been several leadership opportunities for you to experience at CCS:
Bible Class
Being 'Teacher of the Day' presenting a PowerPoint lecture with a worksheet for the students to complete the Scripture lesson.
This week we will continue with our 'Teacher of the Day' presentations as you lead us in learning biblical truths from 1 Corinthians.

Chapel
Leading our chapel service for the entire student body, under the guidance of Fr. Justin and Ms. Boyd.
Physical Ed Class
CCS's all-school community service project sponsored by the American Heart Association where you designed physical activities and obstacle courses, for our Young Learners and Pre-K classes, and participated in our all-school assemblies.

Monday we will be reviewing for the grammar quiz on Tuesday, May 10.  Each student will be going over their notes and completing a grammar review worksheet.  

The rest of the week the class will focus on putting together and completing the short teaching lesson on an assigned grammar topic.  Each student will present their teaching lesson the week of May 16-20.
